Sometimes what is needed to restore a pain-free, vital and healthy body is not an elaborate yoga practice or a strenuous movement regime. Sometimes we need just the opposite: simplicity, ease and nourishment.
When we start noticing:
* ongoing aches and pains, chronic pain
* difficulty with performing certain movements
* loss in range of motion in a joint
* back pain
* (postural) tension patterns
* emotional or mental stress
it is usually a sign that we need to start paying attention and addressing the underlying cause. What is often required is tailored therapeutic movements, done with awareness and attention. Or it might be a change in certain routines, adjustments of postural tendencies that do not serve us any longer, learning effective techniques you can use yourself for realigning your body, for achieving the state of deep rest, for rebalancing your nervous system or improving digestion, blood circulation and energy flow in the body. You might know it already but it’s those small things we do regularly and those that we are able to integrate into our daily lives, that make the biggest difference for maintaining our health and vitality.
My focus in these sessions is to find what approach brings results and offer your simple and accessible tools you can use in your daily life or in your existing movements practice. My aim is for you to build up your own arsenal of self-healing tools and techniques to become self-reliant and able to be more independent from repeated visits to health practitioners.
