The fascinating psoas muscle is unique in its many functions. It has an intimate connection to the nervous system, the breath and biomechanics of movement. It is a place of emotional holding which has a huge impact on our ability to process life experiences and the ability to find a sense of wholeness within ourselves.
It is through the nourishment of the nervous system that we build up a capacity to stay grounded and calm while the world around us is changing or when we meet challenges that life throws at us. Learning techniques to nourish your nervous system will expand your resilience potential, letting you flow freely in the river of life.
Replenishing your nervous system and restoring your psoas is one and the same.
In this session we will slow down and experience techniques specifically designed to release the psoas while attending to your nervous system. This session offers a potential to relieve lower back and hip pain, SI joint pain, improve posture and core function and release overall tension in the body, breath and mind.
You will leave feeling the deepest sense of calm and presence.
For all ages and abilities. The whole session is gone on the floor and is deeply restorative.
